- Safety inspection of all wiring and electrical connections
- Gas furnaces: inspect burner flames and heat exchanger
- Heat pumps: check reversing valve, defrost board, and emergency heat strip amp draws
- Electric heat: verify heat strip amp draws for proper power consumption
- Test all system safety and limit switches

Each quarterly visit includes:
- Descaling and mineral removal (deliming): circulate OEM-approved, nickel-safe descaling acid through the entire water circuit; clean evaporator plates, water distribution tubes, drop zones, and water troughs; flush the water system thoroughly; empty and safely discard existing ice; dismantle removable internal components for manual scrubbing
- Mechanical inspection & filtration: degrease, brush, and vacuum condenser coils; wash and reinstall reusable air filters; flush and clear primary and bin drain lines to the floor sink
- Diagnostics and operation verification: restart and test the machine; monitor freeze and harvest cycles for optimal drop times and ice bridge thickness; inspect float valves, water pumps, and inlet valves for leaks or restricted flow
- Health code documentation: log the service date on the unit for local health inspectors
Replace the water filter cartridge to ensure crisp, clean-tasting ice free of sediment and chlorine.
Filter replacement is subject to an additional fee unless supplied by the customer.

Our comprehensive home cleaning process includes:
- Descaling: circulate manufacturer-approved solutions to safely dissolve stubborn hard water scale and calcium buildup from internal water lines and freezing plates
- Appliance care: clean the condenser coils to prevent overheating, and flush out the drain lines to prevent clogs that could cause leaks and damage your cabinetry or flooring
- Operation check: restart the unit, inspect for leaks, and verify proper ice shape, thickness, and drop times
